The radical left has a problem with violent depictions now

WASHINGTON — Across Twitter, the recent video from Republican Rep. Paul Gosar (AZ) was drawing the outrage of the radical left. Gosar shared the tweet from his team on Monday and it immediately started receiving criticism from the radical left and their propaganda partners at the mainstream media.

Paul Gosar on Twitter: “The creativity of my team is off the hook. https://t.co/5VeunIfriT / Twitter”

The radical left and their mainstream media partners immediately started to attack Gosar. Some of the squad members were calling for him to be kicked out of Congress saying he should not be serving.

Ilhan Omar on Twitter: “This man should not serve in Congress. Fantasizing about violently attacking your colleagues has no place in our political discourse and society. https://t.co/tr2b4poD2m / Twitter”

A lot of Twitter users were calling for his permanent ban from the platform. Some have went as far as to call for Gosar’s arrest following the video.

AOC joined her squad friends in attacking Gosar.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter: “This dude is a just a collection of wet toothpicks anyway. White supremacy is for extremely fragile people &sad men like him, whose self concept relies on the myth that he was born superior because deep down he knows he couldn’t open a pickle jar or read a whole book by himself / Twitter”

Many users were making comparisons on Twitter of Gosar’s actions to that of comedian Kathy Griffin. Griffin drew scrutiny over a photo of her holding a decapitated Trump head.

AOC and her squad mates had no issue with Griffin’s actions though, because they despised Trump as they refused to call him the President. Now that it is a photo of them and their President, they have a problem with it.

Users on Twitter claim there is a difference between a US representative sharing this type of image and a comedian. I don’t really care who shares the images. Whether celebrity or politician, the response should be the same.

I am not saying that I agree with the images that Gosar shared, but you cannot claim outrage at something when you refused to call it out previously. They want to call conservatives biased for failing to address the Gosar video, but AOC and all her pals remained silent over the Griffin issue.

Mainstream media did as well. They shared the story to help it gain popularity, but no one wanted to talk about how sick and wrong the action was. The radical left decided to set a standard and when a Republican went to that level, they immediately have a problem with it.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi also shared her thoughts on Twitter, calling on Republicans to act against Gosar.

Nancy Pelosi on Twitter: “Threats of violence against Members of Congress and the President of the United States must not be tolerated. @GOPLeader should join in condemning this horrific video and call on the Ethics Committee and law enforcement to investigate. https://t.co/qX8kMbiZ8n / Twitter”

Perhaps Nancy has forgotten she did not act against any of the squad members who directly threatened Israel, one of our allies. She refused to take action against Maxine Waters, who attempted to incite a riot. Again, just more of the same double standard from the Democrats.

I fully expect that the GOP will give in to the calls from the left. I don’t agree with the depiction in Gosar’s video. It does show that some Republicans are willing to fight the radical left at their own game, however. The mentality is spot on, but the action taken needs a little work.
